Dusty used to work as a custodian, but he made a job change a few years ago to help with his professional development. He accepted a position as a DI associate, knowing that the role would prepare him for better work opportunities in the future.
“I decided, ‘Why not gain some new skills?’” Dusty recalls. “So, I came to DI, and it’s been a great blessing in my life.”
Aside from the enjoyment of working with good people, Dusty mentions that his job has helped him learn skills like teamwork and how to help others accomplish their assignments.
“There’s a lot more to it than meets the eye,” he says. “We do employee training, and we do lead training so that people can be leads over the areas along with the supervisors. DI is not just a thrift store.”
