All Stores Closed to Shopping and Donating

Update: March 17, 2020

We want to do our part to protect the health of our communities. For this reason, all Deseret Industries stores are closed to customers, and we won't be accepting donations for the time being. We ask that you hold your donations until we can see you again.

See an official statement on the temporary closure:

"Deseret Industries stores are adjusting their services to support community health. Beginning Wednesday, March 18, stores will be closed to the general public for shopping and donations but will remain open to support the needs of individuals served by bishops’ orders and community partner grants. Stores will be open Tuesday, March 17, until 6:00 p.m. MDT.

"Employees of Deseret Industries who are in low-risk demographics may be transferred to support the work of bishops’ storehouses and food processing operations to backfill any staff or volunteers from those facilities who are in a higher risk category and, out of an abundance of caution, remain at home. These closures and transfers are temporary. Updated information will be provided as this situation evolves."

Many of our shoppers come to Deseret Industries for items for their daily lives, and we want to keep providing that service to you. We also want to continue providing job training and career development for our associates.

To ensure the health and safety of our customers and associates, we are taking extra steps and precautions. We will be following all recommendations sent out by the Center for Disease Control (CDC), including cleaning store areas and surfaces more frequently.

Health and safety are a priority. If there has been sickness in your home recently, we ask that you please postpone your donations for the time being. We also encourage customers to follow the CDC’s suggested hygiene practices and stay home if they are feeling unwell.

We will continue to monitor the situation and make adjustments as needed.
