Even in his 80s, Ray enjoys working. He took a job as a DI associate to earn some extra money and stay active.
“It’s a great opportunity,” Ray says. “Everybody is friendly and cooperative.”
Prior to this role, Ray worked as a crossing guard for a local school district. He is now using his skills and experience to help prepare donations for the sales floor at DI.
Ray appreciates the support he has received from his job coaches and other associates during his time in the position. When asked how others could benefit from working at DI, he emphasized the job training.
“They’ll learn a lot about what it is to be a worker.”
