Smart Work Behaviors!

When I first started the Deseret Industries training program, I had a hard time keeping a good job. I not only needed job skills training, but I was often late to work because I just didn’t like working in the mornings. I soon discovered that DI not only would help me learn new job skills, but smart work behaviors.
With the encouragement of a great job coach and development counselor, I began to understand the importance of being on time and working hard. I was trained on fork lifts in multiple areas, mastering forks and clamps for use with small bales, large bales, and gaylords (bulk cargo containers).
I now have a good job because I have good work habits and great skills. I am on time to work each day. In fact, I arrive early. I am very grateful for everyone who helped me, from the staff at Deseret Industries to my grandfather who was my greatest inspiration. I have a great family. I am able to pay for things I want. I am blessed.
