"March 11, 1993. Bad day. I got my arm stuck. . . . I was lucky that the machine just broke my arm and didn't take it all the way off."
John repaired broken machinery for a living until breaking his arm. After recovering, John returned to his job, only to realize he could no longer do what he used to do. With the help of Deseret Industries, John has found a new way to contribute.
"I began to believe that I could function in society again," he said.
