Throughout his working life, Stan has just about done it all. From driving a commercial bus and manning a cash register to working janitorial and being a store manager, Stan’s experience is notable.

“I’m basically a jack of all trades, master of none, as the old saying goes,” Stan says with a smile.

Stan is now working as a DI associate, where he has rotated through various job assignments. At nearly 81 years old, Stan is grateful for the chance he has to get out of the house and apply his skills.

“It keeps me active,” Stan says. “This is a good opportunity for someone who’s older.”

Stan loves being proactive and looking for ways to improve the store.

“I’m contributing by helping my team,” he says. “I’ve had very few complaints from my supervisors.”

Stan’s favorite part of the job is the people—whether that’s working with his team or interacting with customers.

“The customers are very nice, and the employees are too,” Stan says.
