Like many, Shari was severely impacted by the recession in the early 2000s. When she graduated from college, she struggled to find full-time employment in her field. After several years, she decided the best way to refresh her skills and get back to what she loves was to get a job at DI. 

One of Shari’s favorite things about working at Deseret Industries is the people.

"I love the support system we have here. It’s helped me build my confidence and relate with other people better.”

With this support, Shari has been able to set goals and work toward achieving them. She's currently working to refresh her accounting skills by going back to school. Once she graduates, she hopes to get a job in the accounting field and continue improving her situation.
